Today, the final version of the literary argument essay on Wild was completed. Strong writing does not happen in one step; it is the result of a full process that includes brainstorming, drafting, revising, and refining ideas. Each stage plays an important role in strengthening clarity, argument, and analysis. This reflection is an opportunity to think about how the writing process contributed to the final product and what was learned as a writer along the way.
Prompt: How did the writing process (brainstorming, drafting, revising, proofreading, and finalizing) shape the strength of the final essay, and what was learned about your personal strengths and areas for growth as a writer?
The writing process helped make my essay stronger because each step gave me a chance to improve my ideas and fix mistakes. Brainstorming helps me come up with ideas, doing a draft shows me where my thesis and explanations are weak, and revising and proofreading help me make my writing clearer and more organized. I learned that I am good at organizing my ideas, but I need to work on writing a clear thesis and explaining my evidence better.
Summary: The writing process helped me improve my essay and showed me my strengths and weaknesses.
Reflection: I learned that taking time to revise and fix my mistakes makes my writing stronger, and I will keep working on making my ideas clearer.
