As Celie’s world expands in these letters, she begins noticing new things about the people in her life. Write about a moment when you suddenly noticed something funny, shocking, or unexpected about someone you see every day (a family member, a classmate, or even a teacher). How did that new discovery change the way you saw them? One of my friends got a weird and wacky hairstyle. I found it hilarious, and now I see them as irresponsible, but they have enough confidence to have that bad hairstyle One of my friends got a weird and wacky hairstyle that I found really funny. I added facts from the letter and a background that fits with the title of the book   The mood I was aiming for was sad mood, and I adapted my text to fit the mood. In my Adobe Express video, I tried to show a sad, serious mood by using facts from the letter and a background.

  Prompt: At the end of Letter 21, Celie and Sofia share a rare moment of laughter that softens the tension between them. Write about a time when you and a sibling or family member shared an unexpected moment of joy after things had been tense or confusing. Explain how that moment helped bring you closer. My sibling and I were upset with each other for a while. Then one day, we accidentally made a mess in the kitchen and started laughing about it. That laugh broke the tension and helped us forget the argument. It brought us closer and reminded us that we care about each other.

What lesson did you learn about thinking for yourself? Someone once advised me to “just go along with what everyone else wants” so I wouldn’t cause problems. I followed that advice, but it made me unhappy and made my friends think I didn’t have my own opinions. Trying to please everyone created confusion and distance between me and my friends I learned that thinking for myself is important and that being honest about what I want helps keep relationships healthier

Reflect on a time when someone’s desire for control hurt a friendship or relationship. What advice would you give to Harpo or Sofia if you could? I once had a friend who always wanted things their way, and it started to hurt our friendship because I felt controlled  advise for harpo, I'd  tell Harpo that love isn't power. He needs to listen to Sofia and respect her choices  For Sofia, I'd tell her to stay strong, but also explain her feelings clearly so Harpo understands her better

  Prompt: After reading the first five letters of  The Color Purple , reflect on your thoughts and emotions as you experienced Celie’s early voice and struggles. I felt bad for her, her voice is honest and full of pain, and it's clear she has no one to turn to except god. Even though she faces abuse, she still writes and tries to survive. She faced abuse and pain, and she still writes and survives Reading Celie’s letters made me feel sad for her and the hard life she lives. Her words show pain but also strength.   Prompt: Tell me what is your favorite word is RIGHT NOW? Why is it your favorite word and how often do you use it?  My favorite word is oxymoron, because of how weird it sounds, and the word moron sneaked in the word, and I don't often use it, but I do say it when I am bored. My favorite word right now is “oxymoron” because it sounds strange and funny, especially with “moron” in it. I don’t use the word often, but I like saying it when I’m bored. It makes me think about how words can be playful and creative.

  Prompt: Before the Civil War, most people saw nothing wrong with children working long hours. Over time, people began to see it as unfair and even cruel. What is something that society once accepted but now sees as wrong, or something we still accept today that might be viewed as wrong in the future? Explain your reasoning. In the past, people   accepted child labor, but now we know it was harmful and unfair. Today, society accepts constant data tracking by companies, and governments long ago accepted child labor, but we know it was wrong and harmful  . People accept being tracked online, but in the future, this might be seen as unfair. Losing privacy could be viewed as just as wrong as child labor

I once saw a friend get blamed for something he didn't do. i felt bad for staying quiet, this connects to blake's poem because both show how the people ignores others pain. like the chimney  in the blakes poem the chimney sweepers they ignores the suffing of the children  this has been a long time when this happen but the chimney sweeper explained how childern are overlooked in society
